Being a vegetarian, I’m always trying to find local Farmer’s Markets.  While I don’t get to them as often as I like (or should) I’m so pleased to see how they have increased in number over the past few years.  Areas that I lived in that didn’t even have an organic section in their market, now do along with a handful of Farmer’s Markets in the area.  Can’t find one near you?  Want to find out more about Community Supported Agricultures?  Check out LocalHarvest website.

Watching people needlessly print up their emails or website information drives me crazy.  I used to work at a job and everytime this one coworker would needlessly print up reports and YES emails to read I would tell him that he was killing the little baby tree inside me.  Next time you are trying to figure out how your paper usage effects the environment, use this widget.
