Traditional Sand Mandala

There are a few events that I have participated in my life that I treasure more than anything.  In 2007 I was able to spend almost every day at the creation of the Rig’Dzin Dub-Pa Mandala.  I watched as the Lamas worked tirelessly everyday creating this beautiful Mandala.  This year under the Auspices of  Venerable Lama Chödak Gyatso Nubpa, Chagdud Gonpa T’hondup Ling and Lucy’s El Adobe everyone is invited to join the creation of the Shi-Tro Sand Mandala, the fifth sacred Sand Mandala offered at Lucy’s !

NOVEMBER 11th – 25th 2009

AT LUCY’S EL ADOBE CAFÉ

5536 Melrose Ave. (just east of Gower)

This year’s Mandala carries a special dedication in honor of the Venerable Lama Chödak Gyatso Nupba. Please come share your memories, redoubble your comitments, and rejoice in the vast accumulation of merit during this time of the forty-nine-day rain of blessings.
