Moving to the Mountains

.!.

king for a day fool for a li mp3 I just wanted to write a quick post. I am in the process of moving. I will be dividing my time between Los Angeles and Tehachapi. Why Tehachapi you say? I am a volunteer for the American Foundation for Tibetan Conservation AKA Ari Bhod. I am now in the process of moving out of my Silverlake place and gearing up for the mountains and for Winter!

As a side note, when I moved back to LA from NY I thought I would NEVER need my winter clothes. Which, for those of you who knew me in New York during winter time, knows that this is laughable. My “idea” of winter clothes was well, exactly what you would expect from a Valley Girl. Not enough layers and boots that looked warm but weren’t water resistant. I think it took the entire three years of living there before I got the idea. And even then, aside from the proper winter coat, I was clueless.

However, having the best Jewish mother ever, my mom was kind enough to find me boots for an early birthday present! And not just any boots, but Merrell “Spirit Tibet” Boots. I thought the name was very fitting.

Let the early Birthday present shopping begin!!! OH! and for those of you who would like to get in on the birthday gift express train, my birthday is December 12th (12/12)! XO
