Barking Owl Sound

I was fortunate enough to be the project manager and art director for Barking Owl’s website.  They are a new sound design and music company headed up by Kelly Fuller and Justin Bayett and the industry is already talking about them.  Take a look at what  Creativity, Shoot Magazine and ‘Boards have to say.

This website was a great adventure.  A new company looking for a site that would reflect their personalities and creativity.  Working with Lead Developer, Mike Dunlop from Droplab we were able to create a dynamic and artful website for the client.  Jobs like this are always so rewarding, especially when the outcome is this successful.  Take a look at Barking Owl.

Obsession

I used to have this awesome fire engine red 50’s fridge that didn’t work quite as well as it looked. I mean, who still defrosts their fridge on a MONTHLY basis. Well, not that I’m in a position these days to buy any new appliances, but if I were this is so where I would go.

Big Chill Appliances are brilliant. They totally solved the problem, modern appliances with a retro look.  They even have a Beach Cruiser series. Brilliant… Super brilliant, even. So, if you are remodeling, I suggest you check these bad boys out. They sell fridges, stoves and dishwashers!!  Or, when it comes time for me to purchase one of these, you’ll know where to go to gift me one :)

I love how they look in these homes.

Sandra's Business Card

godsmack the other side mp3 download I’ve been keeping busy as usual and wanted to keep everyone posted on what I’ve been doing. Those of you who know me, know that I don’t eat sugar. EXCEPT on rare occasions. Anytime Sandra bakes something, I always make an exception. Therefore, I was more than delighted to design her business card. I photographed one of her super yummy red velvet cupcakes for the back and designed the front of the card with all her info. If you live in the Los Angeles area and are looking for exceptional sweets, I highly recommend Mama Sweetas!.

The Bird and the Bees…
I’ve been working on a new line of note cards. I made two variations on this. One is a traditional folded note card with a glossy finish and the other is a flat notecard (postcard style) with a matte finish. Both versions come with envelopes. I should have these up on my etsy store within two weeks!

I anticipate this being the beginning of a new line I am designing. One will be the straight up blank inside version for my etsy store. The other will be personalized versions for the holidays!

How exciting!

Other Awesome Stuff I Sell… Buying this helps me to pay my rent. It also helps cover the OMG vet bills I just paid when I had a lil scare with my dog Jack.. You’ll hear more about that and him later. He’s kinda the raddest dude ever. It’s true.
