Just wanted to post a few pics that I just took while up on the mountain. I was cooking in the kitchen when it started snowing, so I ran outside and quickly snapped some pics before the snow falling on my camera ruined it

Wow! You would think that after living in New York for three years that I would be used to the snow. Nope! Especially since I never drove in it. Being high on a mountain that has an unpaved, dirt road leading up to it, and finding yourself suddenly buried under two feet of snow and needing to come down for the holidays proved to be quite the challenge! Growing up in the San Fernando Valley never prepared me for this. Luckily, one of the folks up there had to come down too and was brave enough to make the trek down. We all survived. YAY!
Oh, did I mention that there was a truck snowed in and that I had to push it out of the snow? Fun Times.
